Costs and payment

Bulimba Dermatology is a private billing specialist medical practice. Bulk-billing is not offered. Payment is required in full at the time of your consultation. Fees can be paid in cash, or by credit card or direct debit.

Fees vary between Dermatologists and are based on the complexity of the consultation. For complex or extended consultations, or where multiple skin issues are addressed, higher consultation fees may be applied by your treating Dermatologist. Further information regarding fees will be provided to patients at the time of confirmation of a booking. More detail on fees can be obtained by contacting reception.

Please note: There is a continuing high level of demand for specialist dermatologists' services and a list of patients waiting to be seen. To manage this demand, Bulimba Dermatology requires notification 24 hours in advance if you are not able to attend your appointment so that we may offer your appointment to another patient. A fee of $100 will be charged for failing to attend your scheduled and confirmed appointment, and for last minute cancellations of less than 24 hours’ notice (except in exceptional circumstances). We encourage you to let us know as early as possible if you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment to avoid such fees. A replacement appointment is generally not offered for missed appointments and rebooking of those appointments may only be considered after the cancellation fee for the missed appointment is paid in full.
